Leadership Mastery

A 3-day Residential Practitioner Training Workshop in Leadership Development

This workshop is intended for organisational leaders, coaches and mentors or any individual seeking to increase their skills in a leadership role or in working with leaders.

The workshop will introduce you to a discussion on the nature of Leadership and an exploration of leadership skills.  We will explore ideas of self-awareness, self-mastery and social mastery.

• How well must leaders know themselves?
• What must leaders know about those they lead?
• What are the different ways of leading, and which people and situations require which styles?

The relationship between Values Systems and leadership styles will be introduced.   We will equip you to see the leadership task through the lenses of multiple intelligences (Howard Gardner), styles of leadership (Daniel Goleman) and Integral theory (Ken Wilber) all underpinned by the layered understanding of human values and behavioural systems offered by Spiral Dynamics theory.  Through this you will learn how to meet a complex world with skill, matching leadership strategies to the diverse values of people being led. 

Case studies will be used to further explore where different models of leadership have been successful and where they have failed.

This training will build a comprehensive base of both experience and theory, enabling participants to understand both their inner, personal skill-set and the exterior social territory.  Through a rich mixture combining  participation (Action Learning Sets, discussions and case studies) with taught theory you will develop both gut-feel and analytical aspects of the leadership role.    Self Mastery and Social Mastery combine to deliver Leadership Mastery.

Significant understanding of the Spiral Dynamics model will be required in order to benefit from this training.   If you do not already have SDi Level 1 certification additional training material will be avilable.    To receive SDi Level 2 practitioner certification, you will have to complete an SDi Fundamentals Level 1 within twelve months.

Dates for the training are November 25-27th at the Hilton Newbury North.  Times will be from 10 am until approximately 5pm on day 1, from 9am until 5pm on day 2 and from 9am to 4pm on day 3.
