Health
Health management is perhaps the most complex and expensive of society’s caring systems. Since we specialise in the management of complexity, we regard this sector as one where we have a particularly strong contribution to make.
Although it’s a really good idea, and we could certainly help, this does not mean we have to redesign the NHS. The interventions that we can offer would assist at the level of individual practices, niche services, hospital departments and the design of delivery programs. We also have special understanding of monitoring, risk management and prediction systems. Our leadership development, coaching and team-building approaches are as appropriate here as anywhere and possibly more essential.
The core of our methods are rooted in the understanding of people, how they think, how those thinking systems develop, how and why they change. Even the word “health” means different things to different people. How they think affects how they are best managed and best treated – even affecting who will be the best people to treat them. In a high-stress environment where saving hours and days makes a big difference to outcomes, experiences and costs, our understandings could make a big difference. Ask us for details.
