Lynne Sedgmore CBE
Lynne is currently Chief Executive of the 157 Group and is advisor to Whitehall on a range of projects including leadership, innovation capability, community cohesion and preventing violent extremism. Her most recent project is consultant to the Cabinet office review of public service leadership for the Prime Minister.
She is also a consultant and coach in private organisations and uses the  Enneagram and Spiral Dynamics as key organisational approaches.

Lynne was Chief Executive of the Centre for Excellence in Leadership - the national leadership college for the learning and skills sector for four years (2004-2008).  Previous roles include Principal of Guildford College, Vice Principal of Croydon College, Head of Croydon Business School, and Head of Curriculum Services at Hackney College.  Lynne has held a range of full-time Leadership, Marketing, Curriculum and lecturing posts in Further Education.

Lynne is an experienced board member and has held 15 non-executive posts since 1984 including Vice-Chair of Croydon Health Authority, Chair of the UK Interfaith Seminary and Director of four Educational Companies. Currently she is a Director of  the Anne Frank Trust UK, the Talent Foundation and Servant Leadership UK.

Lynne was awarded the CBE in 2004. She is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a fellow of the Institute of Directors and is a Chartered Marketer.

Lynne is an ordained Interfaith Minister, a Spiritual Coach and a Benedictine Oblate.  She has been involved in interfaith dialogue at local, national and international arenas for over 15 years.  She was a member of the UK World Conference for Religions and Peace (WCRP), the Three Faiths Forum and the UK Interfaith Network.  She attended the United Nations Summit for Religious and Spiritual Leaders in New York in 2000 and the UN Women’s Spiritual Leaders’ Summit in Geneva in 2002.  She has chaired local interfaith networks since 1994 and chaired the UK Interfaith Seminary for 4 years.

Lynne has three daughters, 2 grand-daughters and travels extensively to explore different cultures.
