The patterns of human development are mirrored in the growth of children.   The complexities of the society that they are preparing to enter demand rich educational solutions which bring out the full capabilities of every child and equip them to meet the continual changes which they will meet in their futures.    As an organisation whose focus is human emergence, the development of every child to their full potential is an essential component of our vision and aspiration.

While such an intention is hardly unique – even governments endorse it – Spiral Dynamics brings a systematic understanding to the way in which such a goal can be met.   At out European Confab in 2009 we will hear presentations from those who are showing in practice how this can be done.   We hope to inspire others to follow their example.

Spiral Dynamics gives us clear insight into the reasons behind such aspects of modern life as knife crime, terrorism and drug abuse. These are not unrelated. For a solution to work, new ways of looking at these societal elements need to be incorporated into every aspect of educational emergence. From the family to further education; our thinking demonstrably needs to change.
