Spiral of Belief and Spirituality

The ages-old desire to understand our place in the cosmos is as alive as ever.  It is fundamental to the human experience to ask: Who am I?  Why am I here?  What is the purpose of life?

There have been many different answers to such questions, and the Spiral Dynamics viewpoint provides a profound understanding of how these answers have evolved.  In particular it makes sense of why we are in the midst of the intense debate in which traditional religions are attacked by the scientific materialism of Richard Dawkins and distrusted by the humanists.  It provides a context for holistic / integral spirituality and the conscious evolution movement, presenting a place in which both scienctific knowledge and spiritual experience can be reconciled as part of one world.
